I was practically stressed today. Phew. I received calls at 10pm for some design jobs – booked it right away on my schedule. The following hour, I received an e-mail for another project. That was going well, so, it’s fine. Continue reading

De-stressing Through The Rain
8am of this day: 36 hours of no sleep, stressed about the “port:21″ issue of my website database, tired, sunken eyes, and simply put, “look like crap.” This is me. Duh?
haha. I went out of my room to get a hot cup of milk to help me sleep then I heard the “hard” hit of thick rain outside. I opened the front door, removed my jacket, and stepped out – felt the cool raindrops falling on my face. Surreal moment. 8)
I sure wish I look like this when I did my “rain bath” today LOL

Work, Travel, and Brain Pukes
It has been a month-long hiatus. Phew – as if I did anything out of the usual, right? Nope, still the same – work, eat, obsess about losing weight, work, work, and work while traveling.
Hahaha! You get the picture. After establishing two websites, I came to the conclusion that “Oh my, I still need a place to dump all of my BRAIN PUKES and not be too serious all the time.” Continue reading
Still Fat-tastic!
Yesterday, I said “I am still too fat,” and the people around me replied “No, you’re not. You’re OK.” I don’t know if they are right or if I am overexaggerating. The point is, if I could feel these hideous clumps of adipose around my belly, I may definitely conclude that I have some “work” to do. Believe me, it has been a month full of exercise and a month full of “I want to try that because it looks delicious!” then end up with three slices of perfectly baked “cookies n’ cream with banana” cake! What are the odds of weight loss? None! haha! Continue reading
Thoughts on Being a Guest Speaker
Well, today I “surprisingly” found myself attending the “CSI Nights” event of the I love Iloilo team by Gawad Kalinga – I was listening to three amazing speakers and let’s just say I got inspired of what they were discussing. After the forum and the little chit-chats, I came across a college friend, Tracy. Yeah. Small city!
So I said “Hi.” – technically I said her name… then for a brief moment, I disappeared like a pro ninja!

Some children in Cauayan, Negros. – “Do I inspire you, kids?” hahaha!
Stepping Out of that Comfort Zone
I admit I took very simple things for granted. I grew up with almost everything provided for me – I consider myself as one of those “lucky” people probably born with a silver spoon in my mouth. I depended too much on household helps that it took me 21 years to realize that I don’t know how to survive without someone to rely on. This is what I have learned in Cebu for my week long exposure as a work crew in Young Life Summer Camp for High School students. Seriously? Yes.
Here are my revelations (and I am sure you’ll say “What a brat!” – Ok, I deserve that.): Continue reading
In a Relationship with Facebook
It’s too depressing to innately know that most of us are living a life of comfort and blindly, we don’t really see what’s going on with the world unless we’ll take that little chunk of time to just, for a moment, think of the past, present, and the future. It’s as if we all live in this sphere revolving around the internet – not that it’s a bad thing (it’s actually a great invention, no doubt!). But my point is… have you ever told your Social Networking “virtual partner” to maybe cool things off for a moment? So that you could get out and experience real things rather than sit in front of the computer all day, complain, and say “I wish I was that girl on the photo tagged by (insert name of your mutual friend).” Continue reading
I was This Close To Digging my Eyes Out
It has been weeks since I last posted something here – and I felt like tiny spiderwebs are already being spun around this site. The horror it must have been for you! Haha! Anyway, I was caught up with one job and I was pretty much married to it – not because it was “fun to do” but because I could not solve something that should have been done light-years ago. The simple fact is that: I did not understand what I was doing so I went all crazy!
Relaxation wonders in Boracay
Relaxation is perhaps the single most important key to health and well-being. It is the antidote to stress which is known to contribute to the development of disease. When we relax, our body has an opportunity to unwind. This is too good to be true! In fact, relaxation gives the heart a rest by slowing the heart rate, it reduces blood pressure, it slows the rate of breathing, it increases blood flow to the muscles and lastly, it decreases muscle tension!
Two weeks ago, me and my friends went to Boracay Island. It was such a stress-buster!
The question now, dear readers is: “Do you really know how to relax?”
The key to relaxation is TIME. Oh yeah! Make time for it and you will have the best results! Here are some easy ways that I would love to share to all of you so that we could do some relaxation techniques.
