Party Like it’s the End of the World!

Party Like it’s Two thousand and Twelve! Happy New Year, everyone! This is gonna be great!

Apparently when I woke up, I was reminded by this song and it got me on my feet. Yes, I was in Manila a few hours ago (with my friends) and now, I am in Iloilo City, my homeland, to celebrate the New Year with my family. Nothing beats great music, good food, and fantastic company. Hope your New Year celebration would be a blast as well. Stay away from those fire crackers! hahaha! Diet starts TOMORROW! :) It’s the Holidays. hahaha I have the whole year to work on the flabs! Cheers to the Two-oh-one-two! Ciao! :D

Versatile Blogger Award

Today I woke up with a bitch slap on my face that says “OMFG you look like crap!” Having exceeded the number of “awake” hours, I managed to stay zombie-like  for more than a day and a half due to well, design jobs and movie marathons (Can’t blame anyone since it’s the Holidays!). Eye bags were not really appealing but I had them stuck under my eyes at this very moment – very very saggy and dark – YUCK! I don’t look well if I have overdone myself – like, totally pushing to the near-death level of body abuse. lol. :D

Yes, this is the life! Crazy living, I suppose. But beyond all that, I got an unexpected award from Nadie of the blogging community.

Look? It’s THE VERSATILE BLOGGER AWARD! hahaha!  I pretty much gave myself a huge self-hug for a job well-done. Versatile, maybe because I could tackle any topic and still manage to make a stupid ass of myself or probably jokes that are so corny others could not even distinguish if it’s a joke or a statement. haha Thank You! :D Continue reading

When People Read What I Wrote

Clearly, I have been putting up different posts in this site and well, pairing them with pictures and stupid cartoons just to entertain myself. I reached 40 articles a few days ago! I was so proud and ecstatic that after patting my own back for a job well done, I immediately wrote more to compensate for my awkward happiness – as if I won an award or something. Lol! :)

Ok. I get a little too dramatic “behind the scene!” :D This is how I go about things on my blog. Haha! Continue reading

That so-called “Filipino Time”

Why do I really SUCK at being punctual in terms of typical “social gatherings?” Well, here’s the straight-to-the-point scenario we (Filipinos and non-Filipinos) would often observe: The kick-ass party starts at 6pm with nobody inside the room, later, guests arrive at 7pm, and then best pals arrive at 9pm with hard-to-believe reasons. Sounds familiar? Blame that on Filipino culture. Haha!

Whether you’re late or not as long as the plan is still on, why not? LOL! Filipino Time Mystery! Continue reading

Experiment 1.0: Eating like CRAZY!

Eating without consequences? I was very curious of the human body if it is really possible to gain so much weight in 2 weeks and lose them all again  in 2 weeks. A month long experiment with a total abuse of self and now I am blogging because I am halfway there. Well, the first half of the experiment was really EASY to do since it involves a typical sedentary lifestyle with loads of KFC chickens, buckets of rice, large amounts of gravy, softdrinks, and everything that my heart was screaming for (count in those pizza, pasta, more pizza, more ham, more cakes, food, food,  food, and whatever!). I GOT TO EAT MY FAVORITE TREATS IN TWO WHOLE WEEKS! I KNOW? Shut up. haha!

Literally pushing the limits of my poor experimental body. Haha! Life Lessons I guess? LOL. Continue reading

The Look of Anger

I was running down the mall to get a bag of chewy cookies from the local bakery (to pair with my afternoon coffee, of course!) when all of a sudden I was mesmerized by those thick-browed creatures staring at me as if I did something illegal. Oopsies? I did my crazy stare as well but their overpowering red-colored feather of pure anger got on my nerves! Seriously?

This is my friend Apple acting as the famous ANGRY BIRD and me as one of the PIGS. I can’t help but do a wacky pose like this! Continue reading

The Birth of “the ilongga” website

Nobody could describe my feeling right now except me. Here goes. *takes deep breath*

TODAY is June 10, 2010. This is just a regular day for all of you. But for me? Today is the day I gave birth to THEILONGGA website. I feel great! Considering I have brainstormed for the past eight hours about the potential problems this site will have, its future, and also the impact it will give to fellow readers. Yes. I had my sweats. I had my “Oh dear! What on Earth will I do this time?” moments. This is it! Finally! Happy happy birthday dear webbie! :)

Making that post seems so awkward isn’t it? Probably you are imagining me doing my little “hops for joy” here in my room. Maybe you are saying “What is she typing?! Are you sure she’s in college?” Well then. Forgive me. This is my first time to formally announce the birth of a website. I don’t normally do this in my other websites. Now, I have a huge SMILE :) on my face! I can write things without any problem! I can make smileys too!!! (How’s that for a big smile?)

I have the feeling that this would be the beginning of a wonderful year. Now I am really thinking of a .COM for THEILONGGA. Let’s wait and see if the budget is ok. I was just enrolled. Yep. You know the figures for a nursing course. :) *chuckles* Ciao.
