Balancing The Digital Age

Once upon a time, there exists “reality” - a time synced to being offline for several hours a day. A time to step outside and feel the wind, smell the flowers, hear the birds chip, taste the delicious eggs made by mom for breakfast and see the green, luscious fields. There were no online social networking, no necessary gadgets to “fit in” to society, and no 24/7 internet connection. It’s purely life disconnected from the addicting virtual atmosphere of the world wide web. That was then.

What a Normal Web Designer Does

This week I got a lot of calls from my clients regarding their design requests and mock-ups. Oooh! My phones were constantly ringing and in every call, I would to take that “deep breath” just to have the courage to talk to them. haha! The best thing about my job is that I could use my creativity to construct websites for those who are aiming to set up their company’s web presence. Well, online presence is a “must-have” nowadays. The bad thing is – deadlines! Boooooo!

Let me walk you through my “web designer” life because I rarely talk about it (well, there’s nothing much to talk about anyway) haha!

A Delayed Flight Can Drive You Nuts!

Before the year ended, me and my friends flew to the upper side of the Philippines – yeah, in short, Manila (just for fun, though). A part of flying back and forth from your hometown to a place obviously full of ginormous opportunities was a simple date with the airport – that place where you get to do a lot of crazy stuff while waiting to board, or even while waiting for your plane to arrive at any time of the day! Geez!

When People Read What I Wrote

Clearly, I have been putting up different posts in this site and well, pairing them with pictures and stupid cartoons just to entertain myself. I reached 40 articles a few days ago! I was so proud and ecstatic that after patting my own back for a job well done, I immediately wrote more to compensate for my awkward happiness – as if I won an award or something. Lol!

Ok. I get a little too dramatic “behind the scene!” This is how I go about things on my blog. Haha!
