Wednesdays at Le Reve

Valentine’s Day was so yesterday! Boo! We had a spontaneous “Post Valentine’s Day” celebration at Le Reve Deli and Cafe a few days ago. I was with my friend, Jed, now tagged as my “Food Buddy” since we really enjoy playing the role of “Amateur Food Critics.” The both of us enjoyed each other’s company, despite being “single” and “unattached” as of the moment. Haha! Why not? At least we could talk to one anothernot all alone in the corner of our rooms trying to have a conversation with the mirror for it to look like we’re having one! :)

It is Always About Being Trigger-Happy

I could still remember the days when I used to play with different SLR cameras – Pentax, Minolta, Nikon, Canon, and even my father’s Leica. Yes, film! Those that are almost extinct in this digital era – some kids might not have touched an “instamatic” or “polaroid,” I suppose. Those that we were only limited to 12 precious shots, 24, and at the most, 36! Those that we bring to local photo centers to have them printed and to have that glorious moment of seeing your color and composition on hand. Yes. Those were the days of “primitive picture-taking.” (Not that I want to sound old and preachy) :D Continue reading
